Let's talk about Voodoo People

I'll be honest. When I saw that Voodoo People signed up for this year's superduper interesting EHL, I could not help but feel an immense skepticism. Feels like a team where many dude plays with 94-control setups for whatever sick reason. Maybe it has to do with the name. Voodoo, you know!. Feels a bit like a team filled with dudes who sits and randomly press their buttons becuase its fascinating. I thought, to put it bluntly that they, like previous editions would be something of a punching bag. A team that will lie down without a fight, a team that will settle the g/a/p leaderboards .

I really had no reason to think this. Because I had been told by several so-called Stasi agents in various Xbox Live parties that Voodoo People were good this year. Or at least better. Even so, I choosed to not believe this before the tournaments started becuase it felt so "out of touch" and unrealistic.

I felt that Voodoo People, just like this man was overestimated.
"I CANNOT SEEEEE .... BUT I WILL MAKE CHANGEEEEEES"

Becuase, in the NHL-community ... nothing ever changes. Something Northern Stars have proved year after year. And it makes me sad, very sad.

But then it happend. I went to consolehockey ... and I saw that Voodoo People are #2 in their group!!!. A group so tough, that even highly established teams could and will miss the playoffs. Voodoo People are number 2 in that group!? Would you belive it before the season started?

Well. All I know is that I AM SORRY XelsFIN. I AM SORRY Viltzup. And at the same time, I applaud you.You make me believe! You raise me up, as Josh Groban sang.

You guys have been through a quality trip out of the ordinary. Your turnaround in just ONE SUMMER is probably the greatest journey any team ever done in this dear and wonderful community. You should remember that Voodoo People, earlier in their EHL-career have played 64 games and only won 10 of those. 1 in 6,4. This year they have 6 wins in 10 games. Thus a change, like the universal change that occurred when the smartest man OF ALL TIME, Isaac Newton discovered and clarified the function of gravity on this earth. You guys are amazing!

If Voodoo People continue their development, they will be ready to challenge for the title next year - maybe even this year!? WHO KNOWS? After all, we have never seen a team be able to change things around this quickly. All the sudden, Voodoo People are a top team.
.
Proves that the GOAT was right after all.

100 GREATEST PLAYERS OF ALL TIME (10-01)

It is time. After 4 years of playing, we are finally here, ready to announce the 10 best players of these thousand, maybe millions of hours that have passed. But before that, I'm in the mood for some love. That means ... Christer Sjögren, of course!

I believe that "I love Europe" should be the national anthem for every country in Europe. Not only Sweden. To quote a genious "i love europe, and i love sweden.. but i wish justin bieber could come here to sweden<3"

Anyways. Now, I am pumped up. So let's go. This is more exciting than Ashtongamingshows "Don't-drink-and-drive"-videos

100 GREATEST PLAYERS OF ALL TIME (10-01)

10. Sumpi90
The talented finn who has the hardest gun from the blue line known to man. Rarely makes mistakes and a vital cog in Power of Finland where he signals peace and safety. What a player!

9. Blejdi
One of Finlands best forwards is undoubtedly Blejdi. Complete player and Power of Finlands true engine. Has also the ability to always deliver when it matters most. Center with an extremely high minimum level.

8. bait19
Incredibly underrated. Technically  talented. That, combined with his incredible hockey vision elevates bait19 to one of the league's best wingers. For an outsider, it is a joy to watch bait19 board the ice with his poise and bravery.

7. Imosi
Excellent at everything, but perhaps not the best at anything. Which is a great feature since your teammates actually always know whay they can expect from you. Imosi has played in many clubs (Hc siika, Nordic Lightning, NOS, Power of Finland, etc., etc.). Perhaps he has even the record for most number of clubs? Doesn’t matter. What speaks volumes, however, is the fact that he has consistently delivered goals and performances at an even level. Leads EHL-history with most points of all time.

6. Otroliga Esox

The man who have changed his name maybe 10 times - always in some sort of “esox”shape. A fact that is quite strange. Esox was anyway, arguably Europe's best defender 09 & 10, and is still today one of the continent's best defenseman’s. If you look at EHL-history, Esox have one of the highest points per game EVER for defensemen, which is especially great since Company of Geeks forwards not always tops the leaderboards. Is not the most technically proficient defender, but his vision and desire to win is second to NO ONE!

5. Chiimera
Originally a proven VS dude who changed and started playing EASHL on a daily basis instead. And wow, does he deliver? Yes, he does. Chiimera is undoubtedly one of the world's best players with his fast paced thumbs. Also somewhat of a director in Northern Stars, where he plays smart and mature all over the ice. A idol for many aspiring centers out there.

4. J parola
Magnificent defender that just a few years ago on his own raised African Lions to one of the league's best teams. Something that is very rare. Because it was obvious to me that Afro Lions, without Jparola was somewhat mediocre. With him, a team to reckon with! Flawless defender and also the ultimate champion when it comes to poke checks! I love this guy!

3. Maonii
In the end however you still have to conclude that Maonii is the best D-man of all time. His skill with the puck is mesmerazing. He gives time for his forwards through his puck skills. He has also the ability to end a game on his own, without giving up his defensive play, a feature that makes him unique and very valuable. Once again, the best D-man of ALL TIME!

2. Darkki87
A surprise to many. Not to me though, obviously. I have for a long time thought that Darkki87 is the best center of ALL TIME. Excels at everything. Have single-handily lead HC Siika to great success in both finnish and international tournaments. Always #1 in that team in terms of points, and overal always top 10 in every leaderboard – every year. Not so bad if you play in a team like HC Siika, who for the most part, skates around trying to kill their opponents. He also brings creative passes and mind blowing puck handling to the table. All in all, a vital player. In fact, the second best player of ALL TIME.

Darkki87 could however be #1 ... If it weren’t for … well you know who it is.:)

1. Floorbandyking
The best player of all times is called floorbandyking and comes from Uppsala, Sweden. There is no doubt in my mind that he is the communitys response to Wayne Gretzky (although Mario Lemiuex or Jesus Kristuz could have been better if it weren’t for that sad thumb-injury). And believe me. I tried to find a player that were better than Floor, since I really wanted to praise someone more “unknown”. But by the end of the day, his record speaks for itself. He is the greatest! He demonstrated this already in 09 where he, on his own (well okay Ivve83 helped I guess) turned a series against CoG from 0-3 to 4-3. That is greatness in its purest form. Since that he have won tournament after tournament in Northern Stars. And even though his team mates are world class players, I don’t think they would have been as successful without floorbandykings luminosity and also rather peculiar style of play on the ice. If this guy would be traded to Mad Mans they would seriously be able to win EHL, how crazy it may sound. I surrender oh my king.

0. Jesus Kristuz

Has with his amazing skill and great leadership wo …. Oh .. the list is already over!?. I know what you’re thinking. Where on the list is Jesus Kristuz? Surely, he should be # 1? Well, the truth is that I would never rank my self on a holy and objective list like this. My skills are for others to decide. I also, would like to say that there is a lot of great players who aren’t included on this amazing and monumental list. Players such as K3N7, Bigben, Sven Ebola etc. But you aren’t forgotten. In fact, I have in conjunction with God and my OTP-friends talked about all of you. So if your reading this list and thinking that you should be on the list, then you should know that we know who you are and we, most likely think you are really good. But in the end, there is players, just like you who deserves to be praised in this historic list. We all know that, and we all accept it!

In other words. Just as the birth of Christ, we are now starting over with a new time era. And when the time is right, it's time once again to announce the 100 greatest players of all time. Perhaps we will see a PS3 player at # 1 then? Perhaps even Ashton or someone's future son? Maybe Pajens brother? Only time will tell. But even more important. NOW - remember to have fun out there on the ice.

We conclude this historical list of remembering Pulverapa and his amazing blog.

So yes. Love to you all. And yes, let's make this year the best virtual hockey year EVER. That means, a different winner than Northern Stars in december.

Amen/Jesus

100 GREATEST PLAYERS OF ALL TIME (20-11)

WOW!!! Soon we know who the greatest player of all time is. I cannot wait! This is so exciting. But before that, let's celebrate TEN more amazing players. 20-11. Thank you for being so awesome.

100 GREATEST PLAYERS OF ALL TIME (20-11)

20. Bloodyspoon81
Wing and lovely to watch with a puck glued to his stick. Has for years maintained a continuous level. Today a player who sets examples for his team mates in Hammarby Hockey. May he be blessed!

19. Kenu FHR
A player with tremendous integrity. Do not blame losses on doughy momentum engines or …society, for that matter. A very sensible and logical guy, something that is reflected in his game. Is often overshadowed by tbnazze, but the truth is that he is the one in Punakone who stands for security and consistency. Something you cannot do without.

18. Svenskafaran
A leader and legend. Like a playing manager. Takes great responsibilities on the ice.

17. Lyttbacka
If SVT's (Swedish national-TV, like YLE) would rename and change their concept “Mästarnas Mästare” to "Glitcharnas Glitchare", then “Lyttan” would probably be Ingemar Stenmarck of that show. Has, since 08 been one of the most talented individual players in the world. Missing some components in his team play, but it is secondary when you summarize. Rob Schremp warning on this guy, with a great sense of points of course! :)

16. Basstian23
Wing with very fast thumbs. Really good at everything, with a god giving nact for passing.

15. Koodi

Pubertal but lovely guy. And it should be added, koodi is excellent on the ice. A nightmare for every defenseman when he starts combining clever positioning with revolver quick shots.

14. Raixor

If you want to experience advanced passing this is the guy to go to. Creativity is his hallmark. The perfect complement to “Sniper-Jesus” incredible gun. Also, somewhat of a 2-gay forward who creates perfetct balance in any team. Like a virtual Dave Keon.

13. Rullstolskalas
The silent but excellent defenseman that have played in many clubs with great success. “Rulle” as he popularly is addressed to have the ability to adapt to his environment better than anyone else. In fact, “Rulle” is often mistaken for being ICE. That is how good he adepts. I am amazed!

12 . Mary & Rose
Best goalkeeper on the planet. Is often accused for slipping on a banana through big tournaments and games since you don’t need skills to play goalie in Northern Stars. I disagree. Many times when you lose to NOS - often the reason why is a montage of superman saves signed sir Mary & Rose. Also, unconsciously, something of a comical genius.

11. Falkiniz
Legend. I know that his comrades in NOS not always agree when other teams celebrate this giant. But it does’nt matter! We who have played against Falkiniz knows how good he is. Seeing his name in the opposing teams line-up makes you swallow your cheese doodles. That is respect whose breeding ground lies in his HUGE interest in video games. If you have 1000 gamerscore in games such as “Ratatouille”, then you gotta love vieo games. Rumor is also that Falkiniz plays with a high camera. A rumor that I want to believe is founded in the fact that he wants to focus 100% in his sniping. I mean, how could anyone pass his teammates if you cannot see them? Today however, Falkniz is becoming more inactive and have been that for a while, but his reputation as one of the world's best remains intact

"NGHIỆP CHÚNG TÔI CHẠY"

About last night ...

Yesterday the communtyn was hit by a huge SHOCK, when TGMA-genius Pulverapa from nowhere announced his resignation with immediate effect as admin for the russian website, consolehockey. Rumor is that it was the whole "pre-qualification"-thing that was the reason behind Pulverapas decision. However, I really have nothing to say about this, other than feel the obvious sense of sadness that surrounds this absolutely excellent community today. But even more, I wanna thank Pulverapa for doing a solid job.

We would also like to wish Basstian ... and these guys ...

.... the best of luck in the future! They are now the backbone and leaders of this community.

And remember - Let the matches be determined on the ice, and not in the office.

I would like to end this entry with this totally amazing inspirational speech that, even tho it was made in over 70 years ago, seems more relevant today than ever before.

May we find the strenght to beat Northern Stars!

Amen!

100 GREATEST PLAYERS OF ALL TIME (30-21)

The list continues with TEN MORE excellent players. WE ARE LEGENDS!

30. Zidso
At his best when he gets a lot of puck. Excellent at creating momentum through his INTENSE style of play. Brilliant with the puck.

29. Mansoon
Plays with a Tough D-man, of course! Probably the hardest hitting D-man EVER! Together with his eternal sidekick bigben they formed one of the best defensive pairs of all time (Inglitchable Hedgehogs)

28. Craig Christ
By many PS3 guys considered to be the best player of all time. Their own little Wayne Gretzky. And boy is he good! In fact, europe's second best player referring to a biblical person, clearly! He knows his controller inside and out. I almost suspect that Craig sleeps with his controller for complete movement skills, and I do believe that Craig in a year or two, depending on deliverance will be something of a Gretzky on Xbox as well. Talk about potential legendary status for this guy. Go Craig!!!

27. Gtasir

From Norway, oddly enough. One could almost believe that he was born in Örebro with the gaming skills he showcase. A pure and old-fashioned playmaker, and probably also worthy of the epithet "Europe's best playmaker," indeed. He stands for a playing style that draws some parallels to footballs sir Pirlo. A Meastro. A game genius and visionary. Playing with and AGAINST gtasir is like reading poetry on acid.

26. Lycklig Man
One of my favorite centers. Talented face off-guy and a engine whose meaning are vital for his team. A Jesus-light, in other words, haha? Absolutely not. A cog. A driver and filled to the edge with an excellent cognitive ability.

25. Kalle Torrskador
A true superego, a virtual Kovalchuk before he moved to New Jersey. “Kalle” (does he even have real gamertag lol?) is the biggest diva to ever play the game. I have never seen him pass his team mates. To be honest though, team play is OVERRATED when you are as good as “Kalle”. Something he proved when he glitched in the puck from the most insane angles. A big hero of mine!

24. Nuvolari360
Controversial decisions, but Nuvolari deserves more cred than he previously received by the community. Although Inglitchable Hedgehogs always been a recognized talented defensive team, they rarely have gotten any praise for their flourishing offensive. Which is warranted. For if truth should be told, it was really just this guy that in game after game produced goals for this mesmerizing team. In NHL09 and 10, for that matter, no SNIPER could compare himself with Nuvolari in terms of shooting accuracy. One of the the most -efficient scorers but also a complete and vital players in general. You are not forgotten!

23. Muddy Mosquito
A Sniper I like. To be honest though, “Muddan” has lost something since the day he stopped playing with a Sniperbuild. But still a scorer of rank, of course. However, I still hope, hope and HOPE that ONE DAY, “Muddan” will return to the SNIPER FAMILY. A family so unique, that you playmakers, grinders and 2-gay forwards who reads this will never understand. Because the sniper is so wonderful - FABULOUS. In the hands of “Muddan” something MADE BY GOD. Something truly remember able. I’m praying for you.

22. tbnazzi
tbnatti is stylistically in his puck distribution and the fastest player EVER on the counterattacks. However, in terms of how much puck and confidence he gets, he is not the one that is most useful. But yes, a true superstar!

21. Mullweiser

One of the greatest players of ALL TIME ... with a classical controller setup. “Mulle” showed that the equation A + B always ends with profit. Today, “Mulle” plays with a normal controller option and is still as good, if not slightly better. A great complement for Northern Stars.

100 GREATEST PLAYERS OF ALL TIME (40-31)

10. Yes. 10

What a great game it was!

100 BEST PLAYERS OF ALL TIME (40-31)

40. Fritzin66
Yes, a player with a lot of class in my opinion. Won for example my totally amazing “Ramjagsingh Awards" for BEST PLAYER  in 2011 for his heroic effort as a goalkeeper (Peking Superstars). Not bad for an otherwise quite brilliant center. There and then … Fritzin showed a sample of rare versatility.

39. aGiH
An ace in Hc Redballs. Have the ability to "Raise you Up", like Josh Groban sang. Been faithful to his team mates since NHL 10.

38. Dobzu

The toughest TOUGH GUY through all the ages. Combines a physical game with high performances point-wise.

37 Marcus60
Marcus plays for Northern Stars and he helps out in making them the greatest club on the continent. Because Marcus is always at the forefront when it comes to delivery.

36. BiiAidi
The man who would actually been called Blejdi ... if he had not tried to write “Blejdi” with his dick. (try it out …). Insanely good puck handler.

35. Jaiken86
Rough defenseman filled with technical brilliance and a big portion of LOVE for the game. A real alpha male in his own zone, and displays high level of patience in the offensive zone ... yes when he doesn’t use his horsepower to BLAST THAT PUCK, that is!!!

34. Zlaktaren
The name says it all, really!. Incredibly sharp and skilled player who can step into any team and deliver great results. Top notch!

33. BQ the Nerd
Defensively talented D-MAN with a really solid passing capability. Underrated offensively where he if someone is good at controlling loose pucks and avoid counter attacks. However, owner of a terrible slap shot.:) No, I’m just kidding. Truth is that BQ have a powerful slapshot. However, the passes he receives are horrible. Let's thank Raixor for that.

32. Glamour Sthlm
Here he is. A frequent sentiment machine and a fun club member. Feels like Glamour master the games different builds and components better than most. Mainly “GLAMME” plays hard and easy, but he has also the ability to flash when the opponents are at their most selective point. His dump & chase hockey is second to no ONE. Sometimes, he even scores on his dumps. That is talent!

31. robhaf
I think robhaf for a short period of time bothered himself, ironically enough to  be one of europes best forwards in Orka Bry Sig (Why bother). However, he still, from time to time dominates games with his perfectly matched thumbs. robhaf plays hockey as others plays “Snake” on a Nokia 3310. If I should say something negative about this excellent player, then it is that he can be a bit  absent in "important games".

 .

100 GREATEST PLAYERS OF ALL TIME (50-41)

Hello ... ehhh let's get this over with haha

100 GREATEST PLAYERS OF ALL TIME (50-41)

50. Ivve83
A legend, hand down! Also Floorbandys old sidekick in the classic club Swedish Tigers, where they together glitched like there was no tomorrow. Ivve83 is also famous for sharing his feelings on various forums in such a memorable way that he now actually should be seen as a pioneer - A modern Christoffer Columbus, if you so will. Today, Ivve83 have teamed up with Robban90 – a duo that works hard on ice, often with a lot of success. Ivve has also a nice twist on his wrist shots. Underrated SNIPER!

49. Billy44
4 years ago I never thought that we would see a frenchman on a list of this type. But now it is a fact (fealar & Billy). For Billy da kid is French. And he plays hockey. Yes, you read it correctly – He plays hockey. However, I don’t think that Billy, the baguette-loving man from Paris realize his own potential based on the fact that Billy on a daily basis sputters "I'm so bad at the buttons" ... but he is wrong. For Billy is actually a skilled player – and also an artist with a penchant for breaking towards the net. And it's a great ability. Although (naturally) Billy also sometimes could pass Company of Geeks center  more often when he is in one of his sniping positions. But that is on the agenda for the next monthly club meeting. Regardless, very good and just gets better every week.

49. PrivateRyden
For me and many others a great goalkeeper who repeatedly saved  Company of Geeks in important and difficult games through the years. But also a defenseman influenced by desire and ...uranium. Has, even though it is unusual, played forward with impeccable results. A player with a unique ability to play all positions. Valuable and extremely flexible, to quote the bible!

48. Ogge säl
A energetic center / defenseman who master both sides of the coins equally brilliant. His strength lies in determining puck pace and taking hard hits.

47. Bjono
Bjono is just like tasteful swedish snus. Tasteful! Bjono currently plays in Rosa Pantern where he plays with a solid mix of fun and seriousness. With fine finger Bjono controls his player like water (figure skating) and sets examples for his teammates  on how a functional team play is driven and nursed. Add a brilliant hockey sense to that and we have a player suitable for tough games, such as those games VS the almighty Company of Geeks.

46.  eyebiz
The eye, who like the eye of Mordor (Sauron) has delivered on the verge to godlike performances on the defense. A guy to lean on in tough and tight squeezes.

45. cberntsson
The man who makes Eskilstunas  “fantastic 5” complete. Is said to be very fun to play with. Something I buy, straight off! His skill with the puck is world class.

44. PajenC
Prospect from “Jesus Academy”, and also the best player under 16 active today. Capable of playing all sorts of positions on the ice. Fantastic playmaker. In 2-3 years, I do believe that PajenC is the greatest player of all time.

43. Jonas326
Endowed versus player who also displayes great talent in the art of team play. All-round player with a lot of skill.

42. Kuninqas
Kuninqas is HC Redballs "go to guy" when it time to score a goal - that it ALL THE TIME!!! Carry a large load in the producing of goals and OH does he deliver!? Yes he does. Just look at the stats.

41. Frameloose
Frameloose has continuously delivered in EASHL with his excellent  timing, without ever really been the big star in his team. But make no mistake. The level of competence is high and wide.

To the players on the list. Thank you for being so awesome!

Amen!

100 GREATEST PLAYERS OF ALL TIME (60-51)

Hello! It's me, Jesus. Well, you know the drill. The list continues NOW with ten more amazing players.

Probably the most rememberable moment since Göran Persson's anecdote about Helmut Kohl.

Helmut was a great man tho, something I do believe most germans agree with. Well, at least west germans! DDR <3, right!?

100 GREATEST PLAYERS OF ALL TIME (60-51)

60. Codo37
Center in the legendary club, Inglitchable Hedgehogs. Creates perfect balance in the team.

59. Foppatoffla
Foppatoffla has quickly made an impression on the Xbox community with his MESMERAZING finesse. Very skillfull with the puck.

58. TMDoJoCK3sTr4p
The man with the completely incomprehensible name has shown great quality in his relatively short but intense career. Have, in his past played with guys such as PrinceMAS and Ivve83, which basically is the best education any player can ask for. TMD is a great dangler and a big threat at crucial moments with his nice and bouncy glitch shots. Today, TMD plays in the loveably club Company of Geeks, where he is the second center after Jesus Kristuz (AMEN). TMD is however (luckily) versatile enough to play in different positions and by that, also a great compliment for any team.

57. tepeis83
tepeis83 is an offensive defenseman and also FHR Punakones well-kept secret for them in the upcoming EHL-tourney (OOPS!?).  Don’t be surprised, if “tepe” wins the leaderboards for most points as an defenseman. Underrated player!

56. fealar style
French otp champion, who have dominated NHL-lobbies since 09! But fealar has also shown great skills in clubs such as Blood on the Ice etc. Center with – mainly - a defensive focus. Very useful frenchman! Yes. He is french!!

55. Pulverapa
Believe it or not, but when Pulverapa dosen’t write informational texts on his awesome blog, he successfully direct his team through the EASHL-jungle. Right now, probably the best center when it comes to face offs.

54. Heku94
Have the ability to play multiple positions. Started as a defenseman! Last EHL he jumped into a forward position and supplied his team (Baltic Sea Eagles) with a lot of points. This player will most definitely, be higher on the list in a few years. Maybe even top ten (WOW).

53. Jaateloauto
“Jaate” is one of the best versus players I have ever played against.  Not as outstanding in EASHL, but still a vital cog for his team (ofc) Quick thinking WING with a lot of go & flow. I salute you!

52. DisCoMiQuel

“Disco” has always been successful in club games. However, he has never been that SHINING STAR you fear due to the fact that his role … mainly is to make the “invisible plays” flawlessly. Outstanding!

51. Tuomo83
Finn with the fancy name combination, Tuomo and 83. Rebound-genious and intense around the net. I love you!

Fantastic players. Next time, we are back with more AWESOME players and EVEN MORE Coldplay!!!
